We had fun last week, enjoying the wonderful sunny days and warmer temps. The girls can't wait for grandma to come home each day so that can do some 'planting'. There isn't really any planting going on, but plenty of spring clean-up in the yard.
Then there was all the fun of St. Patrick's Day. Ali was to make a leprechaun trap for school, so we set to work trying to out-smart the leprechauns. Lauren made the sign, and inside Ali had a pretend 'pot of gold'...for which we used yellow peanut M&Ms. :)
She didn't catch any leprechauns, because after the kiddos left their traps out at school, they came in from recess only to see the entire classroom turned upside down! All the traps were flipped, but the leprechaun had left some of his 'gold' behind in the form of gold coins and little dollar bills. :)
