Ali: (handing me the rest of her cookie) "Mom, you can have this."
Me: "Don't you like it?"
Ali: "Yes, but I don't want the sugar to make me hibernate."
Me: (?!) "Did it make you tired?"
Ali: "Mom, what does 'hibernate' mean?"
Me: "It's what bears do in the winter. Sleep."
Ali: "Oh."
Me: "Is that what the cookie does to you?"
Ali: "No, you said sugar can make us crazy and hibernate."
Me: "OH! It makes you hyper..." :)
