Ali's Day at the Farm

A big day today - the chicks hatched in Kindergarten! Ali's been watching her 'chick'list for the last 21 days, counting down, waiting for those chicks and ducklings to arrive! They came right on cue, and it was an egg-citing day! :)

In preparation for the study of their eggs, the class went to the farm 2 weeks ago, and I got to tag along.

I stopped by Ali's class today after helping Lauren's class observe their chrysalises (?) in 2nd grade science. Ali was able to introduce me to the chicks, and informed me the first one to hatch was named, 'Popcorn'.

A very big day today!
